My Task
The client wants their current app to be redesigned by following the global group design system.
How It Went
We reviewed the existing screens and features for the app and compare them with the global's design components. It's very simple to do and after that we have to make sure the context aligns with how the agents work with the app on a daily basis. We do all these component changes for the mobile and tablet view.
After redesign and replacing everything, we test them out with fellow agents.
We received good feedback for design iteration and quite positive reaction after they compare the old and new design. With the iteration done, we continue the process for development and support the team as QAs.
Lesson Learned
A proper design sytem can boost the speed of design process and making the project progress even faster.
The global design system only applies for general use. The designers must be able to add value by understanding the user's culture and perspective in specific countries.
